Message	I bought my '91TT in Jan '01. Had the 60k service done in June '01 and it never ran right. I felt like the car was falling apart (loss of power, vibration, little things stopped working). I finally lost the driver side turbo last x-mas. Pulled the motor and tore into it only to find an oil-soaked clutch, motor mounts shot and, to top it off, a RAG in the opposite intercooler (it had gone through the turbo as well!!). I put in all new stuff: Transmission, flywheel/clutch, motor mounts, turbos/lines, intercoolers, wire harness (engine), 02 sens, IAAC. I drove the car for 6 days and lost compression in #4. I guess some "turbo bits" got in there. So...I'm now replacing the motor. All this translates into $$$ and then some more $$$!! But...I've driven a lot of cars (porsche,bimmers,domestics) and even though I've had to put in several thousand dollars to my car...I wouldn't trade it (I have THOUGHT about it...), I love driving this thing...
